Travel Information for Annan
As we all know the Supporters Club will be running a bus to Annan more info on this can be found here.
However we know that there are some supporters who like to make their own way to games, we are going to try and bring you the latest travel information for each away game, this week it is Annan.
Annan is easy to get to by car it is nearly 100 mile trip to the Southern outpost of SPFL2 and will take around 1 hour 45 minutes to get there. We suggest that you leave Stirling around 1220 to ensure you reach Annan in plenty of time for Kick Off (we are setting out times so you are there just after 1400).
The best route to go is via the M80 > M74 > A74(M) > Leave A74(M) at Junction 20 > B722 (signed for Annan)
The B722 takes you right into Annan and Galabank is on the right.
Parking is available near the ground.
You can also get to Annan by train, the cheapest service by train departs Stirling at 0823 and arrives in Annan at 1134 however this requires changing trains. The journey would be:

The cheapest option is taking the early train but this MUST be pre booked as well as the return journey MUST be pre booked. The outward journey is £19.50 and the return is also £19.50 total price is £39. This is also based on using SINGLE tickets. These are also ADVANCED tickets so please make sure you book them in advance.
The later option is buying a Off-Peak return ticket and will cost £42.70
To book them please use www.nationalrail.co.uk
You can also get to Annan by service bus however as with the rail journey this requires several changes and detailed information on times and prices is somewhat limited. We recommend that people research this option as from our research travel times are looking in excess of 4 hours there and back!
